I’m an award-winning designer specializing in motion graphics, visual effects, and illustration. With roots in traditional animation and illustration, a CalArts education, and collaborations with industry legends, I create distinctive visual identities and immersive experiences.
Growing up in Santa Monica, I delved into competitive surfing, video games, and art classes, setting the foundation for my academic journey at The California Institute of the Arts. Merging interests in graffiti culture, computer science, and fine art, I applied my artistic education and technical prowess at ASYLUM Visual Effects. There, I played a pivotal role in crafting title sequences and effects for films like "Hairspray," "Bedtime Stories," "Transformers 2," and others, earning recognition with a collective BAFTA award and multiple VES awards. Transitioning to Zoic Studios, I became Creative Director, leading a dynamic VFX and design team and working on campaigns for major clients.
Venturing into sports and entertainment, I played a key role at the NFL, establishing the Original Content Department and exploring the gaming and interactive domains. Despite this, my enduring passion for visual effects and motion graphics led me back to my roots in Feature Film and Television. Throughout my career, I've remained dedicated to advancing the artistic medium and upholding creative integrity, fueled by my enthusiasm for entertainment, interactive media, and the ever-evolving landscape of technology.
